APPLYING THE SCIENCE OF MINDFULNESS
AND THE POWER OF RELATIONSHIP TO
EMPOWER POSITIVE CHANGE

I provide adult individuals and couples with a compassionate space to transform difficulty into opportunity and growth. My approach is informed by mindfulness practices, science, and the power of the therapeutic relationship to inspire healing and positive change. Mindfulness

Mindfulness is being aware of what is arising in the present moment, including what we see, hear, smell, feel, and think. When we are aware of these experiences we can choose to relate to them with acceptance rather than struggle. In therapy, you will learn to step out of the struggle with uncomfortable thoughts and feelings so that you can create the life that you want.

Evidence-Based

When we create a plan together for therapy, I draw on my training in evidence-based approaches, primarily Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Functional Analytic Psychotherapy (FAP). Thus, I always strive to be present, mindful, and compassionate with my clients while drawing on different areas of research.

Relationships

Experiences of intimacy and connection that arise in therapy are prime opportunities for learning to create powerful, satisfying relationships in your life.
In therapy, we will talk about situations in your life and also use what is happening in the present moment to learn new skills for being with yourself and others.

I specialize in treating a range of problems, including anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, sleep problems, and weight issues. I also have a special interest in wealth psychology- helping clients with wealth to relate mindfully with money, connect deeply with others, and live a life full of meaning.
